We speak to music supervisor Vanessa Jorge Perry who helps us to demystify the process of placing music in trailers.
Over the past 14 years, Vanessa has been a music supervisor for both television and movie trailers, working at Entertainment Tonight, The Ant Farm, and Aspect Ratio. She's worked on placements for projects such as Sideways, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Transformers, Eat Pray Love, Iron Man 1 & 2, Leap Year, It's Complicated, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Mike sits down with music supervisor Tracy McKnight at CMW to talk music in movies and TV. During her time as a music supervisor and throughout her previous role as Head of Film Music for Lionsgate, Tracy has worked on numerous high profile projects from The Hunger Games, Warrior, and The Expendables, to Selma and Triple 9.
